We started because AI implementation was too hard for most businesses
SynthetixBiz was founded in Berlin in 2024 by a team with backgrounds in software engineering and business process design. The observation that led to it was pretty simple: most businesses we encountered had a clear sense that AI could help them, but no practical path to making it happen.
The tooling landscape was (and still is) fragmented. Generic automation platforms require significant customisation. Consulting firms charge for strategy documents that don't translate to code. We wanted to close that gap — build things that actually run in production, connected to real systems, tested against real use cases.
That's still what we do. We're not trying to be a large agency. We're a focused team that takes a small number of projects at a time and builds them properly.

Four people, one focus
We're a team of four based in Berlin. Software engineering, automation architecture, and client operations. No account managers between you and the people building your agent.

Background in backend engineering and ML systems. Previously built automation tooling for logistics and financial services companies.

Co-founder & Operations Lead
Business process analyst with experience in SME consulting. Leads discovery calls and client scoping. Speaks the language of operations, not just engineering.
Jonas Keller
AI Engineer
Focuses on agent architecture, tool use, and integration pipelines. Particularly focused on making agents that behave predictably rather than impressively.
Franziska Schreiber
Client Success & QA
Handles testing, edge case identification, and client onboarding. The person who makes sure things work under real conditions before they go live.
Things that matter to how we work
Scope before code
Every project starts with a written scope agreed by both sides. No ambiguity about what's included, what's not, and what the timeline looks like.
Data stays where it belongs
We build under German law. GDPR compliance isn't a checkbox — it's part of every integration decision from day one.
Small project count
We deliberately limit simultaneous projects so we can work closely with each client. If we're at capacity, we'll say so honestly.
We maintain what we build
AI agents need upkeep. Models change, APIs update, your processes evolve. Our retainer model accounts for this ongoing reality.
Honest about limitations
We'll tell you if a process isn't a good fit for automation, or if the timeline you're expecting isn't realistic. This saves everyone time.

SynthetixBiz GmbH is registered in Berlin's Handelsregister. Proper contracts, proper invoicing, proper liability structure.
